The video records the automatic wandering of the cursor across the nameless landscapes of a satellite map. It is a sliding over the textures of the Earth, in which the landscape emerges from darkness, emptiness or secrecy – gradually, square by square.
The two-dimensional plane is an independent and self-sufficient Earth, a special but full-fledged type of landscape. In this special, digital mode of being of the landscape, there is no depth and horizon — there is only the border of the screen and the edge of the map loading. Failures, delays, fuzziness of fragments — this is the reality of this landscape and the reality of traveling along its surface. This is a flat, digital actuality that does not need the opportunity to find itself in a three-dimensional natural environment.
In the practice of wandering, the cursor acquires subjectivity and a special form of vision, where the world seems to appear for the first time in front of it and for it.
